After abandoning ship and going into the water the survivor is faced with problems. One problem is shelter from the sun and if possible the waves. Another is the temperature of the water especially if it is freezing. Food and water are issues of survival as Jesus pointed out

These are the the traditional American mom, dad and kids families that on the outside seem they have it all together; but on the inside things are pretty rotten. Parents driven to almost anything in order to grab the brass ring and kids whose priorities are focused on winning at any cost.

If you have legitimate needs in a relationship, and they are not being met, should you risk expressing your needs? Yes, but express them in such a way that you don’t impugn the other person’s character or act as his conscience
