We Need to Get Back to the Basics fo Christianity.

For many of us it is hard to understand why Jesus had to die. If all we needed was a God feeling sorry for us, then Jesus dying was absurd. But the world doesn’t need someone to feel sorry it. The world needs  a major change or overhaul. So many people are spiritually lost, and need a Savior. Jesus went to the cross to help the lost find hope and a way to be forgiven.

The world has taken a path that leads away from God. People are slowly passing laws that make Christianity a dying thought in their minds.

Some of the bad attitudes have come from lost jobs, lost pensions, lost hope, and lost sanity. Mothers with children, do not know how they will help their children when they are ill. A father is seeing his house payments piling up, and the roof for his family disappearing.

We need a bright light to come on for us to follow. We need a path to open up that shows us the way. What could that be? Where do we go for help? What awaits us around the next corner?

All of those questions boil down to one answer. We all need to turn back to God, and let Him run our countries. I say countries, because I am writing from the United States, but this same problem is world wide.

People think that the United States is not a Christian nation. If we just took time to read  our history books we would see that 29 of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were graduates of a seminary.

You can find quote after quote from past presidents and signers, that state clearly that this nation was founded on Christian principles.  

We are a Christian nation, and God is not just in the United States, He is every where. God created this earth, and everything in it. He didn’t decide to move on once He created man. He will be, and was always a part of this world and all that is in it.

As for those who are loaded with self-doubt, fear, depression, anxiety, hopelessness, etc., stand strong, because God is still in charge. What we need is for this world to know that God allows u-turns. You will not get  ticket for doing it either.

We need to get back  to the basics of being obedient to a God that loves and wants us to follow Him. He will change the world if we turn back to Him.

Think on what I have said, and try to have it all start with you. Start reading the Bible. Pray for guidance. Study the Word from beginning to the end. Grow, in spirit and in truth.
