As an author, I have several projects in the works. I have another site that is my Author site at www.dougbolton.com.

My author site has actual excerpts from a book I just finished called, Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfreindly World.

I signed a publishing contract with Winepress Publishers, ans the book will be coming out in late August or early September.

It is full of uplifting suggestions and thoughts on how to cope in the troubled world we live in.

I am also working on a new book called,  Becoming Famous Before you are Famous. It will be  guide for writers that are seeking ways to get a platform, and be known before the go to a publisher. It could be for those who have already published as we..

It will cover Internet social networking, and how it can be used to get your name out there. Such groups as Facebook, Twitter, Friendster, My Space, Linkeden, etc, will each be discussed with directions on how to start them and what to look for once you are up and running.

There are some things you need to know so that you do not hook up with spammers and scammers.

I am putting out one chapter at a time on Facebook, and my online newsletter called, Signs of Hope Press. I am asking the readers to take a look and give me feedback.  It is called a group writing of the book. Should be fun.
