Have you ever felt you were in the right place at the right time, only to find out you were in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Many of us have been there.

You say to yourself, “How did I get myself into this mess?” What just happened? I sure didn’t plan on this.

Bad opportunities always show up when your guard is down. Satan loves to surprise you and ambush you.

But that doesn’t mean you have to fall for the bad opportunities.

If you are fulfilled, and satisfied with your life. You are much less apt to fall for a bad opportunity.

Never let the darkside pull you down like a huge magnate.

Before you take the plunge into an opportunity take a long look at it through the peephole first.

Putin is Being called a War Criminal, and Rightfully So.

I know I am sounding like a broken record, but I am crying real tears for the poor people in Ukraine. Many deaths. Water cut off. No heat in the bitter cold, and apartments bombed full of people.

This is called war crimes!

Even our own president of the US called him a war criminal. He is distended to be either executed, or be in prison for all rest of his miserable life.

We are sitting safe in our homes watching all this unfold on our TV sets. The people of Ukraine seems so far away, why should we worry about them?

Very easy…IT IS THE CHRISTIAN THING TO DO!

We need all of us to be praying without ceasing for these poor people.

I know we have our own worries with high inflation, high gas prices, the pandemic, and the southern border.

This means much prayer each day for many things. Pray without ceasing is Paul’s charge to us.

God knows what is happening, and I am sure He has a plan for our good. We just have to be patient.

The War in Ukraine Opened Our Eyes to How Thankful We’re Americans

It is not Veteran’s Day, but with the war going on in Ukraine I would like to share this with you:

Freedom is not Free

  1. It’s the veteran not the journalist who gave us freedom of the press.
  2. It’s the veteran not the poet who gave us freedom of speech.
  3. It’s the veteran not the campus organizer who gave us freedom the demonstrate.
  4. Veterans are those who salute the flag.
  5. Veterans are those who serve beneath the flag.
  6. Veterans are those who have coffins draped with the flag.

Yes, Ukraine is thousands of miles away, but when I see that Putin has bombed hospitals, especially a children’s hospital and a maternity hospital, I honor those soldiers there who are fighting back, and they will not give up.

We need to pray without ceasing for them.

How is your world turning? Do you want to stop it and get off? Has all the turmoil around you caught up with you?

There are many of us in the same boat.

We must never forget, and I repeat this a lot, GOD IS IN CHARGE!

He knows what is going on, and a I assure you He is not happy at all with Putin. But because He is such a loving God He allows people to make decisions that can horrific.

We need to cling to His promises, and cling to hope. He is watching over you and I.

In a Hopeless World We Find Hope in God

So much sadness in our country right now. Thirteen young soldiers died on Thursday, and it could have been avoided.

It grieves as much as losing on of my own family, since I m a veteran.

What hope do we have when all of this is going on?

First a definition of the word hope;

“The anticipation of a future that is better than the present.”

Hope is my main thrusted on this site. I try to share hope in every one of my posts.

Cutting to the chase…

It is God’s past faithfulness that motivates hope for the future.

Reminder… Without God it is hopeless. I couldn’t survive without Him.

Remember that God walks us through the darkness in our lives. He hears our soft cries for help.

Laminations 3: 24 says… “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in him.”

There is another verse in Laminations that describes God:

Steadfastness

He has mercies

He is faithful

His love never ceases.

If you are feeling hopelessness creeping into your life, cling to God’s robe and seek His protection. He listens to you.
