It seems to me that we are living in a progressively failing world. So much is not going right around our country.

  1. Iran is pushing hard to capture our merchant ships that are not even in their area.
  2. Russia, is still trying to overcome Ukraine. It is a bloody battle.
  3. China is circling Taiwan and getting closer to attacking them.
  4. North Korea is still shotting missiles even thought the US wants them to stop.

There are four possible wars right there.

In our country there is:

  1. High inflation.
  2. High gas prices.
  3. Grocery bills skyrocketing.
  4. Interest rates are soaring, making it very hard to buy a home.
  5. Norms are collapsing.

It is hard to be optimistic in this kind of environment.

It is time for prayer!! We need to ask God for His intervention. He knows what is going on. He knows things are not all good.

Why does He allow all this to happen? It is because He gave us all choices. We can decide what to do, and then face the consequences later. We need just to put up with our pleas for Him to have mercy on those who love Him.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

Ranting thoughts…

  1. Looking at today’s headlines, I can’t help thing we are in trouble as a nation. The grandma article is especially disheartening.

2. As I was check all the headlines, there were several similar to this. What is happening? Are the people going bonkers? So sad.

3. I am so glad Mark Wahlberg is making his stand. He is one of my favorite actors, and he is showing me why.

4. The toxic mess in East Palestine is also hard to swallow. The government to trying to assure the people that the water is safe, and yet they are finding many dead fish, and birds.

Important thoughts…

  1. The winner is always part of the answer. The lost is always part of the problem.
  2. The winner always has a program. The loser always had excuses.
  3. The winner says, “Let me do it for you.” The loser says, “It isn’t my job.”
  4. The winner sees an answer to every problem.

Speaking about God…

  1. We worship what we love. We love what we worship.
  2. Worship is an entire lifestyle centered around that which is more valuable than anything else.
  3. You are made in the image of God.

Got my booster shot! Now I can take on the world. (Not really!)

There are some alarming things happening in our world right now.

An article I read stated that Presidnet Biden is a scapegoat. He is making all the mistakes and taking all the blame. This is what the rest of the democrats want. This is an opinion article, but I am not sure if this isn’t really happening.

China and Russia and teaming together to do military exercises. Doesn’t sound too good to me.

________________________________________________________________________

I always say this, and I have to repeat it: GOD IS IN CHARGE!

We have many bad things happening in our world, but He knows it and is dealing with it in His own way.

I will not fear. I will not panic. I will depend on God to protect me.

How do you feel about all of this? Is it getting too scary for you? We also have the pnademic in our lives. What can we do with all of this piling up on us?

  1. Do not panic. God will deal with it.
  2. Pray without ceasing.
  3. Much of what we worry about never happens. Turn the rest over to God.

Here is a prayer that I sent up to God yesterday:

Father, I know that storms are not optional, but inevitable. And I know that you use the trials to transform me into the person you have deigsned me to be. Let me rejoice when I face trials and struggless and trust that you have a reason. Form my character through the fire. Make me look more like Jesus. Let me face each trial with expanding faith. Let me bring your glory as I tell of your faithfulness to me. Let me encourage others in their struggles as well.

In Jesus’s name, amen.
