I lost a couple of battles, but won the war. I am now clear of COVID-19.

I had some scars from it. I was told that I have lost hearing in my left ear. The doctor thinks it may come out of that though.

I had a horrible iron reading from a blood test I took. The high is not supposed to be over 300, mine is 752. That could cause huge damage to my liver. I did an ultra sound yesterday and I am OK for now.

Some wonderful news is that I had A-fib for years, but I had testing this week and the girl said I was back in regular beat since July 24th.

The COVID virus can cause some serious side effects, but can help you on occasion.

Have you had some struggles with you health? Have you had a doctor tell you some bad news?

There are many people like that.

So what can we do to counter attack all of this?

  1. 99% of what we worry about never happens. Give the rest to God.
  2. Be strong and help others who are going through the same things.
  3. Know that God is with you 24/7.
  4. Persevere through the storms of life.

I know it can be hard at times. I have been there, but your strong example to others will go a long way in their lives.

Be the helper.

Be the supporter.

Be the calmer.

Well, I told you on Monday that I was in the hospital for black stools. I have been home for one week and a new ailment has come knocking at my door. It is bad stomach cramps, plus constipation. There is much pain in several parts of my body because of it.

It seems similar enough that I may have some more difficulties with Polyps. I see my Gastro doctor on July 1st, He may know what to do right away. (I hope)

Sorry I am sharing such unpleasant things right now, but that is what is in my world right now.

How are you doing? Do you have health issues? Does it seem hard to face life, because you are suffering so much?

I hear you. It isn’t fun to go through this.

There’s things to remember through all of our adversity:

  1. All things come to an end eventually. Be strong.
  2. All pain should be used to help others. Go to someone who is suffering and help them.
  3. I always think of the pain Jesus went through for us on the cross, and realize my pain is pretty small.

God didn’t promise us a rose garden, but He has many other promises we can cling to. Persevere and He will reward you.

Never let the dark side pull you down. Stand tall and know that God is in Charge.

I had another physical therapy appointment today. Very grueling. I keep at it because in the end I will have much more energy, and stamina.

I have shared with you that I am almost done with my second book, Signs of Hope for the Military: In and Out of the Trenches of Life.

I just have two more interviews to do and clean up the table of contents. I have a publisher who is waiting patiently. They are called, Book Baby. Funky name, but I am very impressed with them.

I will start keeping you posted as to its progress here. I may even have some excerpts. So be sure to come back often to keep caught up.

So, have you had some real grueling moments lately? Did the world try to overcome you? I hear you! I have been there many times.

It is hard, at best, to face the world sometimes. So what are we to do?

  1. Be strong, fight back, persevere!
  2. Let God handle the hard stuff. He is there for you 24/7.
  3. Reach out to those you love and ask them to give you some support. I heard from a neighbor today that said she was helped, “Anbuntedly,” without even asking. Her family and friends came and helped her move into a new home since her husband died suddenly. Brought tears of joy to my eyes.

You don’t Need to Lose the Battle With Satan

I have been having many questions growing in my brain lately. I tried to find some answers.

Satan is working full time trying to convince you that God isn’t important. He would love it if you believed his lies.

I looked in the Bible for answers to him:

  1. The Lord is my safety, security, and protection.
  2. He will hear your voice, and your prayers will reach his ears.
  3. God is for me not against me, like Satan is.
  4. God shows up when you need him.
  5. He is my stronghold in time of trouble.
  6. He rescued me. He is rescuing me. He will rescue me.
  7. God’s way is perfect.

With all that on my side of the line who can be against me. NO ONE!!

We Don’t need to Worry Because God is There For Us.

Went to see my hearing aid doctor this morning. I asked her to help me write a letter to the VA about my hearing loss. She said I have to go through proper channels and then she will help.

I already went through several channels. What I need is another letter in support that I lost some of my hearing while deployed to Korea.

I will NOT give up! You shouldn’t either if you are a veteran struggling with the VA to get compensation.

It has been hard to get back to normal; whatever that is. I think we are setting up a new normal. I don’t expect anyone will ever want to shake hands again.

What a world changing event we are taking part in right now. People dying all around the world. India being the worst spot.

Have you been struggling with the new normal? Do you face big obstacles every day because of the limited things you can do?

I certainly hear you. Days seem long and slow. Nowhere to go. Nothing to do, and frustration facing us wherever we do go.

David had nowhere to go. He was isolated. He had to live in caves to stay alive. He was facing much of what we are facing today. Stay away from danger and hide.

David persevered however, and eventually became the king of Israel. He overcome all the danger and near death experiences, and prevailed.

You and I can do that too. We can persevere and overcome all the darkness we are facing right now.

How did David make it? He relied on God to protect Him and give him comfort.

Too simplistic? Not all all. God is always there. He will protect us , and comfort us just like He did David.

He loved David and called him, a man after His own heart.

He will do that for you too. Pray for His comfort and protection right now. He listens and answers prayer.
