How Can We Face the World The Way it is?

I am back at my desk trying to do my post today. I have to stop and walk around about every twenty minutes. (Good way to get those steps!)

Here are some current events that I found interesting:

  1. House GOP accuses President Biden of influence puddling.
  2. Russia forced into humiliating retreat ay Bakhmut.
  3. Guerilla arsonists just set fire to Russia’s supersonic bomber.

Thoughts…

  1. The republicans are going all out to find wrong doing from Joe Biden.
  2. This is wide spread in Ukraine right now. The Russian fighters are wanting to quit. They also have little ammunition, or body armor.
  3. I’d say the writing is on the wall for Putin. Everything around him is falling apart.

How can we face the world in the way it is going now? So much turmoil and strife.
One thing we always have to cling to is that God is in charge. He sees what is going on. No He is not happy, but He allows us to make choices. In the end you and I win.

Never let the darkside overcome you. Throw our the negative thoughts in your mind and fill it with positive thoughts.

Is that simple? It could be if your allow it. That is what I do every day.

People Aren’t Happy The Direction That Our Country is Going

I know that this site is called, Signs of Hope, but I am going to rant for a little bit:

  1. President Biden say that inflation is going down. Well it is still 40% higher than normal.
  2. President Biden is allowing thousands upon thousands of illegal immigrants to cross our southern border.
  3. Food prices has skyrocketed.
  4. Heating bills are out of control.
  5. Biden will not let us do our own oil drilling, so the gas prices are incredible.

I have other rants, but I think that is enough for now.

Millions of people are fighting depression, anxiety, and have a pessimistic look on life. That is not good for our country.

What can we do to survive this delima?

  1. Take it one day at a time, and be strong.
  2. Be careful of what you buy.
  3. Hunker down for the next two years.
  4. Storms come, but they go away.
  5. Never let the darkside dictate to you what your life is like.
  6. Above all…never, ever give up!

We also need to remember that God is with us 24/7. He knows our problems, and will protect us during the storms of life.

I will putting on a rant and some anger today. I am getting very sick of the way our country is going.

Just yesterday, and teacher at a private school went public and proudly said he is sharing sex toys, and ideas on how to do some sexual things to his high school students. He thought he was great for doing it. REALLY??? I would be furious if was a parent of one of those students. Introducing to anything like this is up to the parents, not some creep in the schools.

President Biden tapped a fund that was to be used for something important to bale out unions, It was over 3 billion dollars. I was a union man, but this is going way too far.

President Biden was in Arizona recently, and was 100 miles from the southern border. He did not go to see what was happening there. He said there was more important things to do. I can not believe that!!!

The new Twitter owner, Musk has come out with shocking proof that Twitter was purposely eliminating all tweets that gave negatives views of any democratic people running for office. It did many other things to disrupt the election of 2018. It also hide all reverences to Hunter Biden’s laptop. That is criminal.

Ok…I am done with the ranting. I am sorry for this, but it has been building up in me for years.

We need to think of positive ways to make it through our days. It is hard, at best, to do os. here are some of my thoughts on that:

  1. Forget the past, live the present, and look forward to the future.
  2. Do not believe much that you see on the national TV networks.
  3. Stop watching news that sounds very fishy.
  4. Concentrate on pleasing God, and not people.
  5. Love your family and keep close to them.

The War is Over, but the Suffering Will Last Forever

I am still saddened by the results of the withdraw from Afghanistan. Needless death and destruction. People left stranded and fearing for their lives.

I was in contact with a SFC Army soldier in Afghanistan, and she was very frightened. She felt she would die soon. Thank God she made it out.

Yes the war is over, but the scars will last forever.

This is certainly not a very friendly world right now. There are sad things happening all over. The pandemic is back and worse than ever. It never left. The unrest amongst the people is very high. Our president doesn’t seem to know what planet he is on.

What does our future hold for us?

It will a rough and bumpy road we must travel, but we have need to remember that God is in charge. Yes, it is hard to believe that He would allow all of this turmoil in our lives, but He has a plan and we need to be silent and know He is God.

I am in the same boat as you are . I am fearful for the future, but I have to sit back and wait on the Lord. He will rescue me and give me peace. He is my fortress. He is my salvation. He is my redeemer. Without Him I am totally lost.

People Are Persecuting Christians for Their Beliefs

Finally it has been announced that the Afghan interpreters will be lifted out of their country and brought to America. I hear there are some who did their applications wrong and may be stuck.

Got to save every last one of them They served us and were in harms way just like our soldiers.

President Biden wants 6 Trillion dollars to do his infrastructure work. Please be sure to read the bill when it is ready. Very little actually goes for infrastructure. There are many little things congressmen wanted for their home states.

I have had a pleasant day so far today. The weather is beautiful, and I am relaxing by doing this post for you.

My cardiologist prescribed a new medication for me to try to stop my shortness of breath. It is called, Entresto. I have been trying since July 12th and it seems to do working. Thank you Lord!!

I have less shortness of breath, and that makes a world of difference.

I am wondering what we as Christians have to do to be accepted by others. We do nothing wrong to them, and we even pray for them.

They still condemn us for our beliefs. They still persecute us.

  3. God knows what is happening to us, and will protect us.

What Was the Life Changing Event in Your Life?

President Biden said this morning that there have been over 200 million first time virus shots given. That is good news. It is rolling in the right direction.

However, he also said that people who do not wear masks could be punished.

Mixed thoughts there for sure.

One thing I always wondered is what were my life changing events.

I had a few, but the biggest change in my life was when I joined the Army. I was only 18 and never had traveled out of my home state. It was a real awakening.

The military taught me discipline. It showed me how to protect myself. It also showed me the importance of friendships. Because of the military, I came out a totally different person.

David from the Bible had several life changing moments as well. This teenage boy killed Goliath with just a slingshot. That made him an overnight hero to his people. He also went on to lead the Israelites in battle. Winning everywhere he went. He even was made King of the whole country.

What was you life changing event? It could be:

Winning your first race in highschool.

Graduating from college.

Getting married.

Having children.

Death of a loved one.

Retirement.

Grandchildren.

I know you can think of other times, but what made them a life changing event?

Was it a good change, or not so good?

The most important thing to remember is that God has been, and will be with you always. He knows every hair on your head. He loves you, and wants the best for you. He made you in His own image.

With all of that, who can be against you…NO ONE!

We Need God to Protect us During the Turmoil We Face.

President Biden has decided to pull the troops out of Afghanistan on September 11th, 2021. That would be the 20th anniversary of the Twin Towers attack.

Now the people are in an uproar. They wanted the troops brought home, but now they fear the Taliban will take over the country quickly.

HELLO!

I am a spot in my life where I am not sure if we should send troops to every country that is having problems.

Biden is in a lose, lose situation, and I feel for him on this situation.

The Air Force just let in a white supremacist that a Google search could have caught, I wrote in an article on Tuesday. Airman 1st Class Shawn Michael McCaffrey has a long history with white supremacist groups, and he even ran a podcast where he and his racist, homophobic pals pilloried Jews, people of color, Muslims and many other groups, including the military. The Air Force is now investigating the case.

Like many other soldiers, seeing his commander take the shot helped Johnson change his mind. Learning more statistics about the vaccine, wanting to protect their loved ones and believing the Army wouldn’t provide a harmful vaccine to its troops also helped, Haley found out after chatting with soldiers.

Yes, we often allow turmoil in our life. It is because we feel weak and cant fight back.

Always remember that God is on your side. With him there who can be against you. No one!

Be strong and cling to God’s robe. He knows who you are and He knows what He needs to do to protect you.

Never, ever give in to the dark side. Keep fighting back with God helping you.

Don’t Think Life is Without Hope. God is There

It is a beautiful day outside. No clouds and a high of 65 coming.

With that happening I should be feeling good and happy and I am. Not that I’m feeling perfect. It is because God has given me another day.

Now that I have brightened your day, let me get some bed feelings out of my head.

President Biden has announced his new gun laws program. It will cut many patriots hearts out. He wants to get rid of many types of guns, and tighten the rules. We will see how the public accepts that.

This reminds me of something a friend told me. He mentioned that he felt that life was without hope.

I told him that God uses some of our darkest moments as our doorway to hope. I also told him to listen to God. If He talks to you there is have hope.

I am going to update you again about my upcoming book, Signs of Hope for the Military: In and Out of the Trenches of Life.

I cleaned up my veteran interviews and I am pretty excited of how they turned out. I have four WWII veteran interviews that are breathtaking. Every one of them were near death experiences.

I am adding a second appendix. It will list all the good military books that are out there. I have read many of them, and they are outstanding and truthful.

Losing Loved Ones Can be Very Hard to Overcome

Things are looking better for me right now. The pneumonia has gone away and I am getting my strength back.

I am very concerned on how our country is being lead. President Biden fell on his way into a plane this last week. It wasn’t a slip It was a complete fall. I pray for him daily. I am pretty sure he will not complete his term as president, and Vice president Kamala Harris will become the president.

Some of the presidents new policies are costing the people deeply. His closing of the pipelines has gas prices skyrocketing. Many people are out of work because of the closings.

A dear friend of mine died suddenly a couple days ago. Totally unexpected. His wife is grieving, and we are too.

Have you ever lost a loved one? It seems to put a halt on many things for the family involved.

An empty chair; no one to talk to, or hug. This takes a long time to get over. I know I have lost a loved one.

What can we do to overcome this sudden storm?

  1. Know that your loved one is no longer in pain and is resting.
  2. Be thankful for the years they were with you.
  3. Don’t try to erase the memories. They are vital to help heal.
  4. Lean on other family. This is the time they want to help you the most.
  5. Connect with close friends. They can be your lifeline.

Through all the storms we face, God is with us. He knows what we are going through. He knows your pain. He knows because He sent His only son to die for us.
