God Can Perform Miracles If You Ask Him

My last post was my story about having a miracle happen. God is so good.

Well, I have a new affliction knocking at my door. I have tendinopathy in my left rotator cuff.

it is very painful at times, but I have learned not to move my left arm quickly. I do it in slow motion now.

Don’t think I will need surgery, because some therapists can fix it I am told.

I will keep you updated.

I have been following the war in Ukraine. Putin doesn’t call it a war, but it is. From what I have seen I believe Putin is losing badly.

He will be tried as a war criminal, I am sure. So many civilians Tortured, raped and killed. No reason for that. Bombing of apartment homes, killing many.

God knows what is happening there, and He will deal with Putin at the proper time.

Why has He allowed all of this to happen? It is because he allows us to choose what we want to do. He gives us choices, and then we answer to Him for what choices we made.

Pray for the Ukrainian people.

I am a member of a private group called RallyPoint. It is for qualified military people only.

What I have found is that many of the veterans on there are Christians. There many republicans too.

I enjoy sharing thoughts with them daily.

Got some bad news this morning. My beautiful wife has COVID. She is not well. Prayers would be appreciated.

Been following the war in Ukraine Is Putin deranged? YES! He is fighting a losing war. He has been defeated in several areas of Ukraine, and yet he still is letting Russian men die.

He needs to disappear. Any way we make that happen would be fine.

The counteroffensive is going well. Time for Putin to grow up and negotiate.

I have come up with a new plan for my bad hip. My primary doctor referred me to a pain maintenance clinic. If they can somehow help me with the pain, I will pass on the surgery. I will keep you posted.

Have you been struggling with an affliction. I feel our pain. It is easy to ask WHY ME!! God has allowed your pain, and you are not sure if you like at all.

Cry out to God to give you peace and relieve the pain. He listens to you even when you are angry. I am using my affliction to reach out to others who are suffering.

Maybe you should try doing the same.

  1. Zelensky’s voice strains with emotion over “Russian beasts,” who beheaded Ukrainian pow.
  2. Ukraine Army eliminates 1,040 Russian soldiers over the last weekend.
  3. Woman performed a C-Section on herself. Both she and the child survived.

Comments…

This just proves that Putin is doing war crimes. Ukraine continues to overpower Russia.

This woman is a very brave woman. Her baby is alive because of her quick thinking.

Our world seems to be heading towards destruction. Wars, Millions crossing our southern borders, high crime, and many other horrific events.

We need to turn to God, and ask for His intervention. Pray that He will protect those who can’t defend themselves.

  1. I have seen several of the john Wick movies. Looking forward to number 4.
  2. Putin has gained many enemies. I am sure his days are numbered.
  3. How shameful to treat dogs like this man has.
  4. Can’t comprehend living to 128. I am have trouble with my current age.

Thoughts…

  1. God’s heart is the most sensitive and tender of all. No act goes unnoticed
  2. Blessed are they who tenderly seek to comfort others.
  3. Love is the true means by which the world is enjoyed.
  4. If you surrender completely to the moments as they pass, you live those moments more richly.

Speaking about God…

  1. God has been very active in the world today. 5,000 people from India received Christ as their savior, and this is happening many places.
  2. Trying to make live in the world without God? How is that working for you?
  3. I am a blessed man. My wife and I are Christians, my three children are christians, and all my grandchildren are christians. God is good.
  4. Those who believe survive. Those who do not believe struggle mightily.

  1. I still can’t believe Putin thinks he can win the war in Ukraine. He has been defeated in so many areas of the country.
  2. The trial for Alex Burdaugh was impelling. Alex tried to lie his way out of conviction when he testified, but the Jury wasn’t having it. They convicted him in less than three hours.
  3. Still many new finds in the pyramids in Egypt. Most interesting.

Speaking of God…

  1. So many people expect God to take care of everything for them without asking. We need to tell God what we need.
  2. It seems hard to think the world is going in the right direction. Wars, floods, earthquakes, etc. With all that happening, it may be better to think about the end times, and not worry where the world is going.
  3. I can’t tell you how many times God has blessed me. The latest one is that my son had to have hip replacement surgery. It was a tough one. He had bone on bone, bone spurs, and arthritis in his hip all at once. It was a huge success. Thank you God.

I had a wonderful weekend with my family. It was at the Oregon Coast. My fie Charlotte, my three children and their spouses, two grandchildren, and my children’s mother were there. Lots of talking and laughing. It was very refreshing, and needed.

  1. Had a Zoom meeting this morning and it was 8 Christian brothers. It was powerful and meaningful. We prayed for each other, and for many people we know.

  4. Russia is realizing that their attempt to defeat Ukraine will not work. Now they are trying to exhaust them rather than to try to conquer new areas. Good luck with that Putin. They are much to strong to give in to you.
  5. The last news article breaks my heart. I am an animal lover. How could anyone leave their pet behind.

If Pain and Suffering Comes Knocking at Your Door, Turn to God.

I tore a muscle in my chest. My doctor said that because of my age, it will take much longer to heal. Lovely!

I am living with the pain, and taking Tylenol. It seems to help a little.

Have you had sudden things happen to you caused you physical and mental pain?

There are many of us like that.

I have some thoughts on how to face the world with this happening to us:

  1. Pain only last for a while, and then it is gone.
  2. Suffering is a part of a Christians life. I am not saying we should suffer as a Christian, but God knows we are suffering and He is writing it down in our book.
  3. Use your pain to help others who are suffering. Helping others helps you with your pain.

The situation in Ukraine is pulling me down like a huge magnate. If I was able, I would be going there to help the people fight.

Many civilians are dying from direct bombing of their homes. This is not an accident. Many are Christians or Jews. Sounds like WWII all over again. Putin has been called the new Hitler and rightfully so.

Please pray daily for peace and protection for all the suffering Ukrainians.

We also need to pray for our own country. We are at a pivotal spot. New decisions by the supreme court can change our country.

If you are battling depression and anxiety from everything that is happening, be strong in knowing God is with you if you are a Christian. He knows your situation. He knows your pains. Pray for His promises, and love.

What is there to talk about? I should say what isn’t there to talk about?

There is so much happening in our world today, it is hard to keep up.

  1. Inflation is eating up our pocket books. Inflation has risen higher this year than since 1980.
  2. Gas prices are also eating up our pocket books. Biden is blaming it on Putin, and yet the prices were way up before the war even started.
  3. The pandemic doesn’t seem to want to go away.
  4. The war in Ukraine is devastating with hundreds of thousands of civilians dead.

It is hard, at best, to face our world today. We need to hunker down, and depend on God to see us through this storm.

Yes, He is allowing it to happen, because He gave man free choice way back to the garden of Eden. People who just want tons of power are causing much of what is going on.

I understand how hard it is. I hear your pleas. We just need to pray, and pray without ceasing. God listens.
