It seems to me that we are living in a progressively failing world. So much is not going right around our country.

  1. Iran is pushing hard to capture our merchant ships that are not even in their area.
  2. Russia, is still trying to overcome Ukraine. It is a bloody battle.
  3. China is circling Taiwan and getting closer to attacking them.
  4. North Korea is still shotting missiles even thought the US wants them to stop.

There are four possible wars right there.

In our country there is:

  1. High inflation.
  2. High gas prices.
  3. Grocery bills skyrocketing.
  4. Interest rates are soaring, making it very hard to buy a home.
  5. Norms are collapsing.

It is hard to be optimistic in this kind of environment.

It is time for prayer!! We need to ask God for His intervention. He knows what is going on. He knows things are not all good.

Why does He allow all this to happen? It is because He gave us all choices. We can decide what to do, and then face the consequences later. We need just to put up with our pleas for Him to have mercy on those who love Him.

Got some bad news this morning. My beautiful wife has COVID. She is not well. Prayers would be appreciated.

Been following the war in Ukraine Is Putin deranged? YES! He is fighting a losing war. He has been defeated in several areas of Ukraine, and yet he still is letting Russian men die.

He needs to disappear. Any way we make that happen would be fine.

The counteroffensive is going well. Time for Putin to grow up and negotiate.

I have come up with a new plan for my bad hip. My primary doctor referred me to a pain maintenance clinic. If they can somehow help me with the pain, I will pass on the surgery. I will keep you posted.

Have you been struggling with an affliction. I feel our pain. It is easy to ask WHY ME!! God has allowed your pain, and you are not sure if you like at all.

Cry out to God to give you peace and relieve the pain. He listens to you even when you are angry. I am using my affliction to reach out to others who are suffering.

Maybe you should try doing the same.

How Can We Face the World The Way it is?

I am back at my desk trying to do my post today. I have to stop and walk around about every twenty minutes. (Good way to get those steps!)

Here are some current events that I found interesting:

  1. House GOP accuses President Biden of influence puddling.
  2. Russia forced into humiliating retreat ay Bakhmut.
  3. Guerilla arsonists just set fire to Russia’s supersonic bomber.

Thoughts…

  1. The republicans are going all out to find wrong doing from Joe Biden.
  2. This is wide spread in Ukraine right now. The Russian fighters are wanting to quit. They also have little ammunition, or body armor.
  3. I’d say the writing is on the wall for Putin. Everything around him is falling apart.

How can we face the world in the way it is going now? So much turmoil and strife.
One thing we always have to cling to is that God is in charge. He sees what is going on. No He is not happy, but He allows us to make choices. In the end you and I win.

Never let the darkside overcome you. Throw our the negative thoughts in your mind and fill it with positive thoughts.

Is that simple? It could be if your allow it. That is what I do every day.

We Should Feel Blessed Living in the Country We Do.

I’m sitting here typing my blog while watching a movie. I’m in the den. I have to be here, because I can’t sit in the desk chair. It makes my right hip explode.

It is harder to try to type n the den, because where I have to place the computer.

I reminded myself, that the title of this site is “Signs of Hope.” I need to do just that! Share signs of hope.

  1. The signs of hope from God, shows us His creative side. The flowers, spring rain, beautiful trees. flowing rivers, Majestic mountains, and much more.
  2. God creates miracles such as, a neighbor of mine was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and given only months to live. She is still alive today and cancer free.
  3. Every time a new born comes into our world, we know God created him/her.
  4. Going on a walk with my granddaughter she notice and ant crossing the sidewalk. She got excited and said, “Look at that wonderful creature of God.”

I could go on, but signs of hope are everywhere if we just look around us

It seems to me that people forget the importance of their heritage, and privileges.

Our country has been around for over 200 years, We became an independent nation, in 1776.

We walk around complaining of high inflation, high gas prices, our southern border, and much more.

We forget how blessed we are to be where we are.

  1. We have free speech.
  2. We can so no, and not be threatened.
  3. Go to great schools for free.
  4. Travel to anywhere in the United States without barriers.

Stop and think how lucky you are. You could be in Ukraine dodging missiles. You could be captured in Russia and held for ransom. Iran would take care of you in a horrible way.

Feel blessed, and find your own signs of hope.

  1. Zelensky’s voice strains with emotion over “Russian beasts,” who beheaded Ukrainian pow.
  2. Ukraine Army eliminates 1,040 Russian soldiers over the last weekend.
  3. Woman performed a C-Section on herself. Both she and the child survived.

Comments…

This just proves that Putin is doing war crimes. Ukraine continues to overpower Russia.

This woman is a very brave woman. Her baby is alive because of her quick thinking.

Our world seems to be heading towards destruction. Wars, Millions crossing our southern borders, high crime, and many other horrific events.

We need to turn to God, and ask for His intervention. Pray that He will protect those who can’t defend themselves.

Just what the living water? It is Jesus who provides the living water. If you feel dehydrated go to Him and you will never thirst again.

The water Jesus offer to us is:

  1. A gift from God.
  2. Living water.
  3. Never thirst again.
  4. A well.
  5. It gives us eternal life.

Do you feel like you are trying to live in world that is like a desert? Does your bucket of water have holes in it?

Jesus provides endless water for your thirst.

  2. Two girls found in floating boat and their parents are missing.
  3. North Korea just announced that 1.4 million people enlisted to fight the U.S.
  4. Poland’s entry into the Ukraine conflict will mean the start of WWIII according to a Russian lawmaker.
  5. Alleged killer Bryan Kohberger only meant to kill one of the victims who he was obsessed with. According to new expert theory.

My thoughts…

  1. The man in the cave chose to be there. He wanted to leave city life.
  2. There is fear that the girl’s parents are not alive.
  3. North Korea may have 1.4 million people enlisted in the military, but there is just too many weaknesses in their system to fight any war.
  4. Poland had become a strong ally of ukraine, and will send them 20 fighter planes.
  5. Bryan Kohberger is a very sick man who should spend the rest of his live behind bars, or even executed.

  1. Ukraine is doing the right things to come to the US for training. Far more qualified leaders to do that.
  2. I believe the scientists. I just hope the aliens are friendly. What wonderful things we could do if they are.
  3. Russia is being attacked from all sides. It doesn’t seem like they have much power to fight back.
  4. Jill Biden will of course will stand by her man, but let’s face it he needs the test. My guess is that he would fail.

  1. I still can’t believe Putin thinks he can win the war in Ukraine. He has been defeated in so many areas of the country.
  2. The trial for Alex Burdaugh was impelling. Alex tried to lie his way out of conviction when he testified, but the Jury wasn’t having it. They convicted him in less than three hours.
  3. Still many new finds in the pyramids in Egypt. Most interesting.

Speaking of God…

  1. So many people expect God to take care of everything for them without asking. We need to tell God what we need.
  2. It seems hard to think the world is going in the right direction. Wars, floods, earthquakes, etc. With all that happening, it may be better to think about the end times, and not worry where the world is going.
  3. I can’t tell you how many times God has blessed me. The latest one is that my son had to have hip replacement surgery. It was a tough one. He had bone on bone, bone spurs, and arthritis in his hip all at once. It was a huge success. Thank you God.

I had a wonderful weekend with my family. It was at the Oregon Coast. My fie Charlotte, my three children and their spouses, two grandchildren, and my children’s mother were there. Lots of talking and laughing. It was very refreshing, and needed.
