I Believe in Miracles, Because One Happened to Me.

I want to share with you a miracle that happened to me.

I had severe pain on my right hip. I couldn’t walk. The pain pills weren’t working very well.

I went to a orthopedic doctor, and he said I needed surgery. I needed a hip replacement.

I had a preop appointment with him. The next time I saw him, I was going to be on the operating table.

My primary doctor, told the surgeon that he wanted me to see another doctor first.

That doctor was a pain management doctor. I met with him, and he said something that put me in shock. He wanted me to cut back on my pain pills!

I went home and decided that I was going to stop all pains pills to see what happens. The next morning I got up, and there was no pain in my hip!! That was three weeks ago, and I haven’t had any pain what’s so ever.

Was this a miracle or was the orthopedic doctor just wanting to make some money?

I decided it was a miracle! God had touched me and set me free of the pain. There is no other way to explain it. From severe pain to no pain. That is hard to explain, except a miracle.

Just to let you know…you may have physical battles, but your spiritual battles are even tougher.

Thoughts…

  1. Break the unbreakable.
  2. Move the unmovable.
  3. From the impossible, we will have a miracle.

People Are Broken, Distraced, and Weary From Life

Satan is getting desparate, because he knows his time is short, and he wants to sabotage your efforts to serve the Lord.

The truth is, the closer we become with Jesus, the more intense our spiritual battles will be. We must be aware of Satan’s schemes.

It is God’s will that everyone will come closer to Jesus than to Satan. But Satan will do everything he can to distract you from following Him.

We need to let God establish our priorites.

Love God-Serve God

If we truly love God we will serve wherever we need to, for example:

  1. Your spouse…God has directed us to love and serve our spouses.
  2. Single? Serve your family and friends. Don’t let anybody distract you.

Knowing the truth doesn’t strengthen you, doing the truth does.

Whoever does the will of God will abide forever.

Don’t do what ever your are doing for yourself. Do it for others.

Back to Satan.. he wants you to feel awful about yourself. He wants to deceive us so we will disobey God. If he succeeds you are on his trophy wall.

To fight all of this we need God’s armor.

When we are attacked by Satan we need let the love of Jesus control us.

We don’t give into fear. We don’t look for the paths of least risistance. We follow Jesus weherever He leads us.

Clean Up Your Sinful Cobwebs and Make Them Spiritual

Every year I go outside and clean the cobwebs from my eaves, and porch. This year I looked at them later and the cobwebs were all back. I didn’t kill the source which was the spiders.

I related that to our own lives.

We allow cobwebs to form in our lives. They overcome us and we are lost. We try to clear them up only to see them came back. We didn’t kill the source. The source is sin.

Sin can control us to the point that we want to give up. We are trapped in the web struggling and can’t break free.

How do we get out of there?

  1. We identify the lies/sins we have been living with.
  2. Confess the lies to God.
  3. We reject the lies.
  4. We replace the lies with God’s truth.

Think about that the next time you are cleaning cobwebs out of your eaves.

I have been wondering what will happen in the near future to our world. there are wars going on. There is rioting everywhere. The murder rates are sky high in the big city. Portland, Oregon was up a staggering 200%.

This is, of course, is caused by the defunding the police actions. There are policemen and women who are quitting the force because of zero support from the mayors of these cities. BTW.. All of these big cities have democratic mayors.

We need to become battle warriors for God. Not physical battles, but spiritual battles. We need to pray for our country. We need to come together in our churches, and pray as a group. Powerful prayers can move mountains.

Seems so simple, but it is powerful.

How is your world spinning? Going too fast?

Always remember that God is with you on your every step. He will protect you from the evil around you. He loves you. He created you in His own image. You are His son/daughter.
