There have been many things that are happening that are pulling us all down like a huge magnate. Inflation, war in Ukraine, high crime rates, our southern border, gas prices. All this seems to be on the shoulders of our current president.

In reality it is something that probably would have happened no matter who the president is. Of course some of the things can be avoided, and I wish the president could see that.

Still struggling with arthritis in my right hip. I am taking Tylenol Arthritis pills t but there is still some pain there. I will see a specialist, soon to see if there is something they can do that isn’t surgery. I am told that I am too old for any kind of surgery.

How is your day going. Do you often wish you could just stay in bed all day? I certainly have been there.

Life is not a beautiful rose garden. There are too many thorns that can hurt us.

Lost relationships, overpowering bills to pay, lost job, depression. What can we do to overcome all of this:

  1. One day at a time.
  2. Face the storms, and you will become stronger.
  3. Never, ever, give up!
  4. Pray to God for His help.

I’m Tired of Going Round and Round on Earth

It’s Friday and it is my rant day:

  1. I am very tired of the pandemic.
  2. I am very tired of how this country is divided.
  3. I am very upset with what is going on in Ukraine.
  4. I am very shocked how fast inflation and gas prices are rising.
  5. This is just my short list, but I don’t want to sound like I am inviting you to my pity party.

It is hard, at best, to face the world we live in today. We need to find ways to block out all the negative things that are happening:

  1. Don’t believe half of the news you are hearing.
  2. Seek the truth.
  3. Speak your frustrations to your congressmen.
  4. Put on those horse blinders to only see straight ahead.
  5. Read the bible for comfort. It is full of it.
  6. Go on walks without any negative thoughts in your head.
  7. Call someone to cheer them up. It goes both ways.

I try to abide with the above list for my own sanity. Try it yourself.

The War in Ukraine Opened Our Eyes to How Thankful We’re Americans

It is not Veteran’s Day, but with the war going on in Ukraine I would like to share this with you:

Freedom is not Free

  1. It’s the veteran not the journalist who gave us freedom of the press.
  2. It’s the veteran not the poet who gave us freedom of speech.
  3. It’s the veteran not the campus organizer who gave us freedom the demonstrate.
  4. Veterans are those who salute the flag.
  5. Veterans are those who serve beneath the flag.
  6. Veterans are those who have coffins draped with the flag.

Yes, Ukraine is thousands of miles away, but when I see that Putin has bombed hospitals, especially a children’s hospital and a maternity hospital, I honor those soldiers there who are fighting back, and they will not give up.

We need to pray without ceasing for them.

How is your world turning? Do you want to stop it and get off? Has all the turmoil around you caught up with you?

There are many of us in the same boat.

We must never forget, and I repeat this a lot, GOD IS IN CHARGE!

He knows what is going on, and a I assure you He is not happy at all with Putin. But because He is such a loving God He allows people to make decisions that can horrific.

We need to cling to His promises, and cling to hope. He is watching over you and I.
